Summary
You can request deletion of your QASH RUMMY account and associated personal data at any time. Use the in-app option (Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account) for the fastest path, or email support@zentabyteinfotech.in. Identity is verified via OTP to your registered phone.
Introduction
We respect your right to delete your account and your personal data from QASH RUMMY. This page explains exactly what gets deleted, what is retained for legal reasons, and the two methods you can use to request deletion.
QASH RUMMY is operated by ZENTABYTE INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED, registered in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
1. What Gets Deleted
1.1 On a successful deletion request we permanently remove the following from our active production systems:
- Your registered phone number
- Your display name and avatar selection
- Your account record (internal user ID, language, settings)
- Game history, scores, statistics, and any match records tied to your account
- All authentication tokens, refresh tokens, and active session data
1.2 QASH RUMMY is a free, skill-based card game. There are no real-money deposits, withdrawals, or wallets in the app — there is no monetary balance to settle on account closure.
2. What Is Retained (and Why)
2.1 Some records must be retained even after account deletion to comply with Indian law and to operate the service safely. These are kept in a separate, restricted-access store and are never used for marketing or product analytics keyed to you personally:
- Transaction / audit records — retained for up to seven (7) years where required by the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable amendments. QASH RUMMY V1 does not process payments, so in practice these records are minimal.
- Anonymised analytics — retained indefinitely. Once anonymised, these contain no identifiers linking back to you (no phone number, no user ID).
- Records subject to an active legal hold — retained for the duration of the ongoing legal or regulatory requirement, then deleted.
3. Method 1 — In-App Deletion (Recommended)
3.1 The quickest way to delete your account is from inside the QASH Rummy app:
- Open QASH RUMMY on your phone.
- Sign in with your phone and password.
- Tap the Profile icon (top right) → Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm with the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered phone number.
- Tap “Permanently Delete My Account”.
3.2 Account deletion is processed within 24 hours of confirmation. You will be signed out immediately and lose access to all account data.
4. Method 2 — Email Request (Backup)
4.1 If you cannot access the app (for example, you have uninstalled it), send an email request:
- To: support@zentabyteinfotech.in
- Subject: QASH Rummy Account Deletion Request
- Body — include:
- Your registered phone number (with country code)
- The full name on the account
- Reason for deletion (optional, helps us improve)
4.2 We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours. After identity verification (see Section 5) your account is deleted within 7 business days.
5. Verification Process
5.1 Before we delete any account we verify that the request comes from the account owner. We do this by sending a One-Time Password (OTP) to the phone number registered on the account and asking you to confirm it.
5.2 This step protects you from someone else triggering an unauthorised deletion of your account.
5.3 If the registered phone number is no longer in your possession, contact support@zentabyteinfotech.in from any address and we will work with you on an alternative verification path.
6. After Deletion
- You will no longer be able to log in with the deleted account.
- All personal data listed in Section 1 is permanently removed from our active production systems within the timelines above.
- Encrypted backup snapshots are purged on their normal rotation cycle, within 30 days at the latest. From the moment your account is deleted, no live system reads from those backups.
- You can create a new account anytime using the same phone number — it will start fresh, with no history from the deleted account.
